Uneven breathing settled into deeper, definite breaths as Finn spoke, a smile rising on Aur's lips as he met the other man's gaze. He was grateful that the tendrils of his nightmare that still lingered were disregarded - it even felt as though the night-beast that shepherded bad dreams recoiled at the Wolf's touch.
For a minute, Aurelius allowed himself to watch the pirate captain go about dressing himself. It was soothing. The light that crept through the curtains of the large windows illuminated certain parts of Finn, delicate light dancing over scars and tattoos. Joining him now, the Bear gathered his clothes to dress, but paused to watch how his friend applied the black lining - like war paint, but more delicate. It hit Aur just right. Suppressed desires longed to be acted upon, to have at the captain now, but now was not the time.
Rid yourself of such selfish thoughts.
Aurelius raised both eyebrows in amusement, grinning at the display that unfolded before him. "I would say that you are more king than I," he countered, stroking his chin with his fingers, icy eyes taking their time moving over Finn's entirety.
His senses gathered all that they could when Finn opened the door to step out onto the deck. The Bear bowed his head to fit through the frame, his nose twitching against the smell. His attention was stolen by the Crew Boss, Dalia, as she came by, looking to be set toward a very important task indeed.
As if on cue, from where she came, noiseless feet carried Kukinta past the elf and to his king. A knowing stare of obsidian black scanned Aur's features, and Aurelius placed a hand on his companion's shoulder as a way of saying, "Worry not, my friend." Eyebrows twitched in protest, but Kukinta looked past Aur's shoulder to the flamboyantly attired Finn.
